The day before the Invitational is always one of nervousness and preparation. Each player knows that he's only as good as his last game and that there is no guarantee that he'll finish the course this year. The reigning champion Conor MacNeill knows he faces some tough competition from Team Culchie. In a recent interview with the champion, he said, "Team Culchie seem quite confident that they are going to win the team game, but as this is the first year of team play, it can go either way". He went on to say, "Team City has all the experienced players, some of whom will hopefully be turning Pro at the end of this year's tournament, so we think we have the upper hand.". With both teams looking confident, it's sure to be an exciting 2007 Titanic Invitational.

With so much interest in this year's Invitational, Team play has been brought in. This means that not only will we have an individual champion, but the scores of each team are added up and averaged to find out the winner of the team competition.
